Personal Fit For A Personal Solution
Getting an exact replica of your foot isn’t as hard as it seems! We use state-of-the-art impression foam so that we can get a great impression. After you have chosen your Surethotics custom-fit orthotics, you will receive your Personal Impression Kit from us in the mail. Here are some simple tips to help you make a great, quality impression.
The Four Step Process
STEP ONE
Place the open box on a solid, level surface. Sit in a sturdy chair, allowing your feet to rest on the Impression Kit with your leg at a 90-degree angle. Then open the right side of the kit. Next, position your bare foot directly over the right side of the impression foam, ready to apply your weight in a smooth, steady motion.
STEP TWO
Next, press your right heel ¾ of the way into the impression foam. Then press your forefoot the same depth as your heel, keeping equal pressure into the foam. Use enough gentle force to make a full impression. Be careful not to press your foot clear to the bottom. This may result in an incorrect impression.
STEP THREE
Now, keep your foot in place while using your fingers to press each toe, one at a time, into the impression foam to make a full impression. Now repeat the process with your other foot. When you’re done, you should have a nice, clean impression for your custom-fit orthotics.
STEP FOUR
Congratulations! You are ready to send your Personal Impression Kit to our lab, where our technicians will create your custom-fit orthotics. Using the pre-printed return label, place it on your closed and sealed impression kit. Be sure to use good packing tape to protect your Impression Kit. Once we receive your Personal Impression Kit, your custom orthotics should be mailed from Surethotics in 7-10 business days.
